Scott P Bonk, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

A few things about myself...

A little more about Scott

After spending four enlightening years in the Marine Corps, I attended Harding University in Arkansas where I earned my bachelor’s degree and master’s degree. I am a Clinical member of both the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and the American Association of Christian Counselors. I’ve worked as a manager in residential and out-patient treatment centers for adults and adolescents who struggled with depression, substance dependency, and other challenging issues. I was also on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Therapeutic Wilderness Camps. I have a love and passion for counseling; it’s what I enjoy doing.

Here a but a few of the highlights:

  • Summer 1982 After H.S. graduation I was chosen as crew chief for a local fast food restaurant chain and decided on my career path.

  • Winter 1982 Changed careers and joined the Marine’s where I was abruptly rewarded with a duty station in Hawaii, which included traveling to over 25 different countries.
